Our #9 Gravel is a quality product. This is what we recommend be used for a leveling agent to level the base of a driveway or patio, drainage in a thin area when not much water will be flowing, or creating a level surface on the top of a walkway.

Silica Pea Gravel is a somewhat translucent, multicolored pastel decorative stone. Commonly used to create sitting areas, pathways, and for other landscaping projects. It is approximately 3/8” in size. Silica Pea Gravel is aesthetically pleasing, and makes a beautiful stone for lining a pond or water feature.

#2 Limestone is commonly used as a primary base under crushed aggregate. It can also be used as a decorative stone under decking or exposed. #2 Limestone is very common when working in construction or when needing a base product.

#304 Limestone is a crushed limestone. 304 Limestone is a whitish-gray stone that is commonly used as a base beneath asphalt. When compacted it makes a great hard surface for driveways and parking spaces.

#4 Limestone is made of crushed limerock from 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches in size. The product is commonly used as erosion control, as a heavy drainage material, as a stabilizer or for landscaping.

#8 limestone is primarily used as backfill and a base for driveways and patios with outstanding drainage. Varying in sizes from 3/4″ – 1″ Approximate coverage of 100 sf/ton.

#411 Gravel is very commonly used for construction applications. It’s crushed to different sizes, making each piece different. It’s great for the use of driveways, brick paver bases or under sheds as a base material for leveling. 411 is one of our most popular products here at Mr.Mulch.

#57 Limestone Gravel has a variety of uses. Its angular shape helps it lock in place, its relatively small size makes it easy to move, and it still has enough space when spread or compacted to allow a large amount of water to flow through it.
